Bio

My interest in natural healing and spirituality began in the woods and meadows surrounding my childhood home in Switzerland. My grandparents nurtured these interests. Their wisdom of holistic living and integration of eastern with western spirituality was my guiding light. My grandparents also taught me about world cycles relative to challenging times to come, which helped me cope with the unnatural changes I observed in the world.

At the age of 18 I left my family home to become a nurse’s aid in a small hospital in the Swiss Alps. The following years were filled with fantastic opportunities to assist the chief and his team in surgery and ER. Being often the first one to interact with patients when they were brought in and last before they were “put under”, I found that the quality most precious and sought after was unconditional love and compassion.

I went back to school to become a medical doctor. But the exclusively linear thinking of pre-med education made me search for a more left–right brain balanced approach to healing and wellness. After graduation I left for the US, where I completed various mind-body programs for Energy Therapy and Life Coaching. Among them was a four-year training in body oriented regressive therapy with Alec Rubin in New York City. Combined with my education in Expressive Therapy this became the foundation for deep feeling and psychological insight I apply in practice.

During my training I also did research and worked closely with parents and their young children. Thus I had found another sphere where compassion and unconditional love were essential ingredients. Following my studies I was head teacher in a child development center affiliated with Boston University’s child study program. My next position comprised director of an early childhood day care facility. My overall experience working with parents and their children ages two months through 16 years spans over three and a half decades.

In 1994 I opened my own energy therapy and yoga/meditation center. I also entered an astrological study program. Through the integration of astrology a new world began to open up in how I was able to assist my clients. Consequently I deepened my astrological knowledge through a rigorous five-year tutorial in Evolutionary Astrology. This gave me the keys to chart interpretation from the activating principle within – the Soul.

I was accustomed to the concept of reincarnation and the soul through my grandparents’ wisdom and my own spiritual practice, which started in my teens with Hatha Yoga. Later on I learned Kundalini Yoga and Meditation, and eventually Kriya Yoga as taught by Paramahansa Yogananda. His guru, the galactic astrologer Swami Sri Yukteswar’s teachings on the Ages brought me full circle with what my grandparents once told me about world cycles. Finally I had arrived at a revolutionary understanding on the crossroads of changing times humanity is facing! It became the inspiration for my first book The Why in the Road.

Now my astrological insights are the key to meeting the requirements of our time on a soul level. As I continue to help my wonderful clients find and fulfill their destiny, they also acquire skills that equip them for the progressing global changes. Thus my Astrological Consulting work has taken a timely and most needed direction. In addition natal chart interpretation for adults, babies and children, and Relationship Consultations, I practice Medical Astrology based on energy and the chakra system. Another specialty is Location Astrology, which is inspired by my own relocation from Switzerland to Boston, Massachusetts; and  more recently to the beautiful St. Louis area in Missouri, USA.
