Forecast for February 2012

This month starts out with Neptune moving into the sign of Pisces, where it will remain until the end of March of 2025. Much could be said on this topic alone. But because this is a monthly forecast, the big picture can only be presented by using small quantities. 

During the next 10 to 15 years we can expect a dwindling of attitudes and mental structures. Simultaneously we will find a re-seeding of new thought forms, where the emerging patterns will revolutionize all areas of human experience. Among many other phenomena, we will unfortunately also see ever greater depletion of natural resources that will further weaken the biosphere. More positive developments will bring inventions and increasing intellectual capacities, dissolution of time/space barriers (to a limited degree), a spiritual awakening into what some call “the 4th dimension”, imaginative striving and creative simulation for learning and research, as well as sense gratification and healing experiences through/in the growing sophistication of virtual realities. Following collective disillusionment, lacking initiative and disintegration of many already malfunctioning systems, we will also find extensive social, economic and political innovations.

For those of us who are embracing the natural law of evolution, these seeds are falling onto fertile ground. With an open heart they continue to grow until they bear fruit. Every experience is viewed as an opportunity for growth. Challenges are mastered and limitations are overcome in the light of expanding awareness. With this indomitable power and energy we set out to do good, to help ourselves and others. 

With the Sun in Aquarius the weak solar fire is often experienced as reduced vitality. The energy allows for detachment and can be used introspectively to illuminate and objectify the skeletons in our closets. We now have what it takes to liberate from past conditioning, limiting thinking and behavioral patterns.  The Sun in the early degrees of Pisces later this month helps to tie loose ends and consequently remove those skeletons. Combined with the planetary energy of Mars retrograde this also invites us to look at issues of unresolved anger, rage and fear. 

It might serve you to create a healing environment where you can act out what you have suppressed or denied yourself. These things have a tendency to remain hidden not only from others, but most importantly from ourselves. Along with how they can harm us physically with “psycho-somatic symptoms”, they also undermine our actions, distort our thinking, and sometimes even corrupt our intentions to their very core. Make sure you feel safe, secure, and perhaps you might choose to include some trusted, wise person in your quest. Either way, the most important thing is the level of comfort in that space made sacred to you.

Once you’ve established such an environment, ask yourself what may be smoldering under the surface of your apparently smooth operation. It is likely that issues are being triggered by outer events or other people in your sphere. Use those triggers to prod deeply into the recesses of your subconscious mind. This is a time when issues can resolve naturally from within, and answers may arise seemingly out of nowhere. Don’t push; always remain firm in a gentle way. Perhaps you’ll manage to free the energy bound in frustration. Because you are liberating your soul from the self-created prison of slavery to illusion, the rewards are beyond your wildest dreams. 

Ask yourself what opportunities you are missing out of deeply buried fear. You must have the courage to be truthful with yourself. Where are your living lies? Find out and begin to understand why you may have needed to create them. Use your imagination, and do not be afraid to make a fool out of yourself or to follow what seems irrational. Fear, the greatest illusion of all, causes you to create crises, denial and unhappiness. 

In these pursuits beware also of a victim’s consciousness. When you can see your circumstances and the situation you find yourself in as self-created (even if unconsciously chosen), you grant yourself the power to change them. Forget the dull-minded codependency of the dark ages! This is a universe of action and reaction. Whatever you have done, you can undo. This is only the beginning of the period (until June) during which these issues can be explored, worked through and hopefully even resolved. Should you turn up empty handed, your endeavor may well have created an opening for future exploration. And even if things do not work out the way you have envisioned, you will find that because of your own efforts, the light will shine brighter on your path. It will help you to take the next step from an informed and self-empowered stance. 

At the beginning of this month you also have green light for social interaction and balancing qualities in relationships. If you are eager for a turn to be heard and seen, wait until the 7th when the planetary energies support you in a big way. Then by the 10th relationship dynamics can change suddenly and unexpectedly. Stating your position beforehand ensures grace and balance during what may otherwise be a rather erratic or chaotic time. During the second part of the month it is important to listen to others’ feedback and to take direction from their input. If you try to elbow your way, you will find resistance and end up being ignored or isolated. The planetary energies support the above described dynamics of resolving anger and fear issues with turning your attention inward anytime you encounter negative patterns. Answers will emerge from within as well. With Saturn going retrograde at the culmination degree of Libra, relationships now have a way of bringing up repetitive, imbalanced and dysfunctional patterns. The following months will present many opportunities to repeat and resolve them.
